I commenced my career in 1983 as an apprentice carpenter and joiner and progressed with the company to site manager. In 1990, I formed my own company – a great learning curve. In 2001 I was approached to join the board of Houston Cox Eastern as Managing Director, a company of greater appeal in terms of size, scale, diversity and reach. Since then I have developed it to be a successful £20m operating region within the Houston Cox Group of companies.

Andy Beckett
Managing Director - Central
I started my career in the construction industry in 1986 being employed by a local company as an apprentice carpenter and joiner. I joined Houston Cox in 1988 and soon progressed to Trades Foreman. As the company grew, and my experience increased I was offered the position of Contracts Manager in 1999. I was appointed as Managing Director in 2005 and have progressively developed the company, improving performance on a year by year basis.
