St George

The Tower

The post boxes are located in the post room and are set into stained and lacquered European oak veneered feature wall panelling.

They were designed and constructed to match the finish on the wall panels and comprised of two banks of pigeon hole units to form post boxes. The edges were solid oak finish with veneered doors set with a bevelled post slot, again with solid oak edgings. Each door was hung on concealed hinges with a keyed cylinder lock individual to each box with a master key held by the building concierge. The bank of post boxes were completed by concealed feature lighting to the top and bottom of each bank of units.

The units also incorporated within them a larger package post-box, waste cupboard with disposal slot and an apartment occupier post box for collections.
