Station Hill, Phase 2

Commercial

A flagship, multi-storey office building with underground car parking, podium structure and associated public realm with landscaping as part of a transformational development for Reading and Thames Valley.

Houston Cox carried out the design, manufacture, supply and installation of an array of items that made up the scheme’s carpentry, joinery and fit-out packages. This included a show-piece reception area with a bespoke reception desk made with high-end Scandinavian ash veneer panelling and solid grade ash timber flooring. We were tasked with designing, developing and procuring of oversized fire and acoustic timber doorsets that are concealed within timber panelling providing a clear opening from the lobby areas onto the office space.

Specialist items included were the WC cubicles and vanities, sanitaryware, floor and wall tiling, painting and decorating, architectural metalwork, wayfinding signage, wall murals, mirrors, blinds and changing room lockers.
