Kennedy Building

Houston Cox designed and delivered an acoustic fabric feature wall to the lift atrium space of the Kennedy building at Oxford University Campus.

It required consultation with both the acoustic engineer and fire officer and careful co-ordination with MEP, lift and dry lining contractors.

The design included for all support work from the shaftwall behind and consisted of random loop sized fabric fins stitched to a fabric base liner which was adhered to an MDF substrate panel.

The wall was manufactured off site in modules for ease of installation on site.
