The wall panelling undertaken by Houston Cox at the London Dock development was a combination of communal area panelling and feature wall panelling along with the hallway areas of the apartments.
Careful consideration was required in order to coordinate the door design whilst achieving both the fire compliance and seamless appearance desired. The design of the panelling included both flush veneer surfaces and factory painted feature grooves, all communal area panelling was finished in a Euro Class B lacquer.
We were required to coordinate the design carefully with MEP and the lift contractor to ensure that successful integration of any LED lighting and lift control buttons whilst matching the lift finish to supply and install wrapped bronze reveal and overpanels.

The design of the panelling was in feature brown metallic herringbone veneer and for the staircase walls was templated and manufactured to suit the treads and risers of the stone clad staircase, furthermore careful consideration was required in order to coordinate the door design whilst achieving seamless appearance desired within the hallways. We were required to coordinate the design carefully with MEP and the metalwork contractor to allow successful integration of the lighting controls and bespoke metal handrail.View all wall panelling
